Kopi Susu Gula Aren

When I was a kid, I had no interest in coffee. My mother was always buying coffee beans in a traditional market every week. Drying the beans in sunlight, roasting the beans and blend with diced coconut pulps on a very traditional wood stove. On a black clay cooking pan. Also grinding beans with a traditional way. It was aromatic! To extract the coffee, she was always making like "cowboy coffee" steps. heating the water on her stove, adding some coffee grounds depending on her taste, and stirring with some white sugar until boiling up. sometime not filtering the grounds, to serve for my father in earlier morning and afternoon.

Then a year ago, I start have an interest with coffee drink blend with milk. Then now with brown sugar, called Kopi susu gula aren in Indonesia.  To taste the quality of coffee drink in a cafe or coffee shop, I always order the Kopi Susu Gula Aren one. My favorite one is from Kopi Kenangan. Kopi Kenangan Mantan, juwara beans (100% arabica), cold, normal ice and sugar.  21K for a regular cup. For a week, I drink up to three times, one on weekend. Sometime with less cheap 15k for a small cup coffee from Family Mart, on the basement 2 of my office. 

Not too strong coffee taste, creamy milk, and sweet from brown sugar give a combination for me to want drinking coffee every morning. The inexpensive price of coffee with deal the criteria is limited. On my office's pantry, the coffee mix is very less. Then, I also deal with going no cafein in a week and I could still be okay.
